About Us
Our School
Frodsham Primary Academy is located near to Frodsham High Street on Ship Street. The School runs parallel to the M56 and is in walking distance of the River Weaver. There is also access to a Children’s Centre on site.
We are a small, friendly and caring school who have a big heart and a warm welcome. We are proud of our identity as a fully inclusive school. As we are a 0.5 form intake school, we are small enough to know the names of every individual child. We house a successful, seven place Resourced Provision for children who have an Educational Health Care Plan for autism. We also offer provision for children from 2 years of age within our popular school Nursery.
The school is housed within one building which wraps around central quad. The main building consists of 6 classrooms, a hall, a kitchen, sensory room and administration area. The gorgeous displays around the building reflect the work of the school and link corridors house separate intervention areas.
There are two playgrounds one for the younger children (Nursery and Reception) and one for the older children. (KS1 and KS2) There are gardens as well as our Forest Schools area and trim trial. The playing field is located beyond the forest school area and the children have access to keep fit on ‘the golden mile.’ All children have access to these facilities throughout the week.
At Frodsham Primary Academy our overall aim is for each child to believe in themselves to achieve their best and succeed in life. We create a community for every child to have access the best possible learning experiences whilst having fun in a safe and secure, supportive and happy environment. We encourage the children to develop and achieve the necessary knowledge and skills for life-long learning and to become successful, responsible citizens. We place great value on the quality of relationships within our school community and feel that such relationships lead to positive attitudes to life and learning.
We also aim to provide an environment in which each member of our community can acquire the knowledge, skills, support they need in order that they may take their place in the wider society.
Parental Involvement
At Frodsham Primary Academy, we firmly believe that the relationship between the parents and the school is crucial if the child's education is to benefit fully. We strive to support our pupils to be aspirational and successful. Together with our dedicated support and communication from both staff and wider professionals, our positive partnerships and open door policy; we will ensure that all children will reach their full potential.
