School Lunch

Frodsham Primary Academy uses Edsential to cater for our school lunches. 

Edsential are very proud to be the first catering company in the world to use only sustainable palm oil in their menus. Please click on the literature below to see the impact that this is making.

Dinner money is to be paid via ParentPay - the cost is £2.70 per day/£13 per week. Please pay in advance for the week or term ahead. 

If your child has a food allergy it is important that you register this allergy with the school. Please click on the tab to find out how to do this.

Packed Lunch

If you opt to provide a packed lunch for your child, we do encourage you to make healthy choices when preparing this.

As a general principle, we promote healthy, balanced packed lunches. We would ask parents and carers to please provide a healthy packed lunch.  This will help promote a healthy lifestyle. Please click on the NHS CHANGE FOR LIFE website link for ideas on how to provide a healthy lunch.

Also, please be mindful of the materials in your child's lunch box. Try to limit the amount of single use plastic and talk to your child about recyclable materials and what they should return home with - i.e. drink bottles and containers.

FREE SCHOOL MEALS

Your child may be entitled to receive a Free School Meal. This will remove all of the costs associated with purchasing your child's school lunch or packed lunch.  To check to see if you are eligible please click HERE.

NUT AWARE SCHOOL

Please be aware, we are a NUT AWARE school.

Our kitchen is nut free and we ask that parents do not include nuts in packed lunches. This is monitored by staff, who are allergen trained.
